Hello parents and students!!

This is my sixth year teaching reading at Elkhart Lake- Glenbeulah Elementary/Middle School, and I am thrilled to begin another school year! I have over 20 years of classroom experience working with children between the grades of kindergarten and high school. I am the Title I and Response to Intervention (RtI) teacher at ELGES. It is an honor for me to be a part of our school district and work with the wonderful students and families here. It is also a joy to work every day with such a talented group of educators.

I live in Manitowoc and have three children. My oldest son, Alex, graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering, my daughter Hillary is in graduate school at Marquette University, and my youngest son Andrew is a student at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. We have a yorkie-bichon named Wrigley, and yes we are Chicago Cubs fans! Originally, I am from a small town in the U.P. and grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan. I graduated from St. Norbert College with a degree in elementary education and an English minor. I earned my reading teacher license from Silver Lake College in 2010. Currently, I am taking graduate reading courses through the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. I have a true love of teaching reading and the language arts. In my free time I enjoy gardening, reading, boating, skiing, spending time with my family, and taking Harley rides!
